My Dad was born in 1950, he was the eldest Son of Elsie and Edward, he has a Brother called Graham. He was known to everyone as "Malc". He was a loving husband to Millie (my Mum), a loving Dad to Tracy & Vicki, and a loving Grandad to Adam, Grace & Joshua. His passion were the red devils (Man United) he was a life long and very devoted fan, this has since been passed down through generations and other family members, we are all now avid Man United fans, thanks to my Dad, and many of the memories we all have are occasions when Man United have won titles and trophies . His other passion was family holidays and he loved Benidorm!
On Thursday February 28th 2008, we recieved a phone call to say that my dad had been rushed to hospital in Alicante, Spain, the Doctors thought my Dad had an infection on his lung. On the Saturday we were told he was on a ventilator and was very poorly. I decided to fly out there to be with him until he got better, sadly this was not to be. My Aunty Carole came with me and was a rock the whole time and I couldn't have got through it without her. We arrived in Alicante on the Sunday, and went to the hospital to see my Dad, He seemed to pick up over the next couple of days, but on the Wednesday he started to go downhill and on the Thursday. we were told by the doctors that there was nothing else they could do and he passed away at 2pm that day, the cause of death was pancreatitis. I cant explain to anyone how I felt but heartbroken, numb, empty mainly. It was such a shock and not being with my family when it happened crippled me. We all miss him so much, although we didn't spend much time together over the last three years, we were a very close family and my Dad is remembered with alot of happy memories. His beloved Man United, whom I believe did the double for him last year, are still watched with passion, but also a sadness that he is no longer here to share it with, your cellar will always be your shrine Dad. Since losing my Dad, we have also lost my Nannan (my Dads mum), I don't think she ever got over losing him, but they are now re-united, along with my Grandad. My Dad is truly missed and loved by us all and we'll never forget the happy times we shared! We love you Dad & Nannan & Grandad, always! love from Millie, Tracy, Vicki, Simon & Craig, Adam, Grace & Joshua, Graham, Anne & family and Carole, Pat & family xxxxxx
Thank you to Aunty Carole for being there when I needed her, you were my rock xxx

1 year today

Its lonely here without you, i miss you more each day
for life is not the same for me, since you were called away
If I could have one lifetime wish, one dream that could come true
I would pray to God with all my heart
for yesterday and you
So if you have a Father, cherish him with care
for you'll never know the heartache
till you know that he's not there.
Not a days goes by I dont think of you Dad,
love and miss you with all my heart, always
love vicki xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

A golden heart stopped beating,
Two smiling eyes at rest,
God broke your familys hearts to prove to them,
He only takes the best.
